It’s Time For Fashion’s Favorite Week: Paris Haute Couture Fall 2013-14 Shows!

Leave it to the French when it comes to ending the fashion season, because let’s face it -- nothing beats Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week!

Finally, it is upon us: The week where fashion’s most celebrated designers choose the grandest venues to present their super-luxe collections and select the world’s most sought after models to wear them right.

Yes, in just two days’ time Paris bids farewell to the Fall 2013-14 fashion season with the Haute Couture grand finale. And FashionTV will be reporting straight from the Parisian catwalks to bring you all the front-row and backstage coverage, first.

The week will begin on Sunday, with a late night show from Atelier Versace, as is customary to the Haute Couture schedule, where last season, Donatella, pulled-off a gilded collection of gold and garishness for her Spring 2013 showcase.

And then, a bright and early start on Monday for Christophe Josse, who will open the first full day and is followed shortly by fashion prodigy and red carpet favorite Raf Simons of Christian Dior. Then, Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen who has a penchant for mixing science with fashion, will undoubtedly present yet another futuristic collection, before Giambattista Valli closes the day with some authentic Italian glamour.
Day two, and if the world’s fashionistas, top celebs, and biggest bloggers haven’t arrived yet, then they’ll certainly be turning up for the bi-annual Grand Palais Chanel Haute Couture spectacle, where we can expect to see Karl Lagerfeld favorites like Cara Delevingne, Stella Tennant, Kel Markey, Lindsey Wixson, and other top models strutting the catwalk to the beat of his fashion show. Also showing on day two is Kim Kardashian favorite, Stephane Rolland -- we wonder if she’ll be making her first public appearance with baby North West at the show??

And so, the Haute Couture carousel keeps turning, with custom mask maker Maison Martin Margiela opening day three, and the prince of fairytale dresses Elie Saab following shortly after, as well as fashion’s eternal enfant-terrible Jean Paul Gaultier showing the same day. Meanwhile, Viktor&Rolf will be making a big comeback with their first Haute Couture show in over 13 years! Day four will close the week’s offerings with unisex Haute Couture designer Rad Hourani and Zuhair Murad
